The Iowa Veterans Foundation has the following Veteran Funds available to Veterans and their dependents.

        Veterans Assistance Fund

        Veteran Memorial Donation Fund

            Donations made to this fund are a Living Memorial of Honor to lives of our Veterans who have served our country
            and the Memorial Donations will live on in their names, to help the lives of other Veterans.

            Please visit the Memorials for our Living Memorial of Honor to lives of our Veterans who will never be forgotten.



The Iowa Veterans Foundation has already begun work on veteran projects and we are gaining projects as the needs are recognized and presented to the Iowa Veterans Foundation.

Currently the Iowa Veterans Foundation is involved with the following projects:

        Council Bluffs Veterans Day Parade Project

        VVA Chapter 798 - Special Display Project

        Veterans For Veterans GAP Fund

            Donations to this project will be used to help veterans not able to obtain help through other agencies.



There are still bricks available for The Bronze Eagle for a $100 donation. There is a minimum of 10 bricks before the engraver will engrave them. They probably won't get done before spring due to weather. Please print the following form and mail completed form along with your check to the address on the form below:

We have the Flags For Forgotten that can be displayed in your town. They represent the 660 veterans who have taken their own lives in a year. Please E:Mail the Secretary to request them and include the dates you would like them to have them. Email Secretary

If you have a veterans project you wish to submit to The Iowa Veterans Foundation, please click the application form button below and either mail the completed application form to The Iowa Veterans Foundation or scan the completed application form and email the application to our email address as an attachment.

The Iowa Veterans Foundation board will review your veteran project application and will contact the applicant if the board will need more information about the veteran project and/or possibly ask for a presentation for the veteran project at a board meeting before considering a veteran project application.  The board may also approve the veteran project application without any further information or the board may decide to decline the application for a veteran project.
